I do understand how MS tries spread S Mode and the cost incentives but still would like to know the following:

Is there any real difference between Win10 S (Mode) and using the Win10 setting "Allow apps from the store only"? Don't we simply get the full S Mode security plus the few Win32 apps we need by installing the desktop apps first and then switching to "Allow apps from the store only".

I currently have all my Win10 Pro machines set to "Warn me before installing apps from outside the store".

She seemed quite interested in the production.
