    <p>I think it should be measured by what problems it solves in that segment and how well it solves them. </p><p><br></p><p>PS: for a person that wisely say that people should stop making comparison, your stance on why either Apple or Google developed their respective products kind of goes in the wrong path. For instance Chromebooks were launched prior to Surface Pro, more in line with netbooks. As for Apple we never know. But this is mostly irrelevant really. </p><p><br></p><p>My my personal opinion MS did not create a new category. It evolved the PC.just enough to stall ithe touch enabled contamination of a market that the companiy holds 80% or more of marketshare.</p>
