<p>I don't think Apple has to bring MacOS apps to the iPad, they just want to. It's as if they wanted to prove that Job's Post-PC era has arrived by ironically transforming the iPad into a PC. Of course Job's vision of the iPad was a touch-only interface in a reasonably-sized package. It wasn't about keyboards, pencils, or jumbo sizes.</p>

<p>Apple = an iOS company at this point. </p><p><br></p><p>For me I choose the iPhone for security/privacy over anything else and essentially it is the best of no great choices. Same for my iPad, it is a consumption device that has the best apps, or the best of a not really great choices. I never got into Windows Phone, but I wish it had been successful so we had another option. </p><p><br></p><p>I have a work provided 15inch Macbook Pro that is only 8 months old. I only use it for testing at this point.</p>

<p>MacBook starts at 1299 not 999 which makes the whole thing more perplexing because that new MBA is 100 dollars less than the MacBook vs. being 200 dollars less as stated in the video. </p>
