So Paul, as a last ditch thing to try to cure your HUE issue before you nuke absolutely everything, try opening the HUE app, go to SETTINGS, click on Hue Bridges, click the little "i" at the right side of your bridge and choose "Clean up" on the page that pops up. You'll lose all your scenes, routines, entertainment areas and data from other Hue apps, but your rooms, lights and accessories will be preserved. There could be a remnant of code left over from whatever app you used to setup your Christmas scenes that's still running on the hub. If that doesn't help then go nuclear.
