If you want to stay in C#-land, Xamarin is a terrific cross-platform environment. The new Uno platform (Platform.Uno) rides on top of Xamarin to enable WinUI (UWP-style XAML) for cross-platform development including the browser (using WebAssembly). Microsoft's Blazor project is growing in popularity (though it uses HTML/CSS for UI rendering). There's a rumor the Blazor team is starting to work with Microsoft's WinUI team for a XAML-enabled version of Blazor. (Curiously, the Blazor folks also did a demo using Flutter for UI rendering.)

Yes…it'd be simpler if there was only ONE way to do things. But it's nice to be able to choose the right tool for the job rather than having only one tool for every job.

“You never think about reformatting your smartphone…”

My experience with Android was that if you don’t blow them away with a full reset every 6 months or so they got seriously buggy and slow and I was always having to be thinking about reformatting them
