<p>Notepad in the store making no sense? But maybe it does for a Windows Core OS? Strip Windows down to nothing (unbundle all apps – small as they might be) and make Windows smaller and more portable. Then users/admins can just add the "parts" they want. E.g. Notepad may not be the app that orgs/schools want users to have, but Office is. </p><p><br></p><p>Of course if you do it with Notepad, then do it with everything. But hey it's Microsoft….</p>
