Paul,

While you are looking to switch to Mint, I would stongly suggest checking out Red Pocket. They offer the ability to get a SIM on any network (of the 4 majors) or even switch between networks (via sim switching) within a given plan month. They do not offer automatic network switching though, but I would take a look particularly at the annual plans they offer. Under annual plan I did a full year unltd talk/text w/ 5 gb of data for under $16.50 a month (they have a fire sale from Black Friday to end of year). I was also able to stack annual plans so I am pre-paid for ~2 years.

Lee

I actually joined Mint after your test a few years ago. As of right now I am happy with the TMobile service in my area. I also live in the Lehigh Valley and service is fine, when i go to the Poconos its pretty spotty. Only complaint is I wish there was an unlimited plan. I was using it as a hotspot for business and its the first time I came close to the 12gb limit.
