Hey Sam ,if isn't too much to ask why don't you give us a list of all the stuff you use. Talking about it isn't enough, thanks. Big fan of the podcasts .

William.

Ditch the tv on the wall and use a banner on the lower screen like Windows Weekly. You won't hide your sponsors with your head and you can do proper lighting.

Try moving your lights to 30 degrees off axis (or less) instead of 45. Then you don't induce the nose shadow. Elevation wise, you're looking for low enough so you don't get racoon eyes and high enough to keep your shadow off the wall. Diffusing them can help as well. I wouldn't worry about the glare on the monitor bezel, it adds realism and makes it look like its really there and not a digital set. The thing you may want to add is a small back light for your hair and shoulders. It separates you from the screen. In general I'm not a fan of ring lights because of the creepy strange reflection on peoples eyes.

It already looks pretty nice BTW.
