Really loved FAM very glad season 3 is a go. Used to read a lot of Harry Turtledoves work back in the day. Watching or reading alternative history requires a special nuanced version of 'Suspension of Disbelief' that all fiction (particularly science) requires. I understand your issues with the shuttle but I thought they covered it well as Shuttle Release 2.0N (Nuclear).

"It's just a movie" – what? Perhaps there is a class with which we lucky husbands are unfamiliar, where wives learn such responses. My pet peeve is military flicks where all the soldiers walk down the road in a tight line – it's better for the camera. Or the lady cop chases down some ne'er-do-well only to find that she did the deed in 3" spiked heels. Or, my personal favorite growing up, every single time there is an on-foot chase scene at night in the forest during a new moon with one or two burly bad guys with guns and a man and a 20-something girl (very well paid to act as the damsel in distress), the girl will trip and scream or whimper to give away her position.

My general response nowadays is to yell epithets that you can't print on this site and go upstairs to my trusty Surface Book 3 and read the email from the spam folders.
