      So, this is kind of a random fact about me, but outside of personal tech, where my job forces me to use something new every other day, I typically hold on to things—cars, clothes, whatever—far longer than most would consider acceptable. If it works and I need/like it, I keep it. The chair I sit on every day in my office is 20 years old now.
