Maybe I am in the minority, but Microsoft sucks at creating good designed software. Teams, Windows 11, and now Edge are following the same design ideas: Create a box, and keep adding stuff into the box.

Instead it should be: Lets build an item that people want with a great design that is flexible and easy to use.

I dont know, maybe its just me. Or I am just old. I want a browser to be…a browser. Not an email client. Not a file viewer. I dont want it to have "apps". Not a coupon clipper. And sure as hell not BNPL. Browsers (IMO) have extensions for a reason.

I agree.

Add functionality through extensions. Which are optional.

The only people who’d worry about MSFT ruining Edge are the same people who never believed Internet Explorer was the finest browser of all time. (Previous sentence not for the irony-deprived.)

I used the shareware version of Notepad.exe for a while, and then just said, to hell with it, and bought a license. :-o
