He is not a genius. He is a little rich kid whose daddy owned an emerald mine. He bought Tesla. He didn’t invent anything.

He is a disrupter. Without Tesla the EV market would not be as advanced as it has become so far. The reason he built and build all the super chargers is to eventually open them up to all EVs, they are already starting to retrofit them to support CCS charging.

Elon put up all his fortune up multiple times to fund his next companies. It’s not that he comes up with the ideas for these things as many people have the ideas and a few start companies around them even fewer are will to put up every cent they own willing to go bankrupt with their money they made from a previous successful company to bet it all on another one. You have to be a little crazy to do that which is why sometimes he posts crazy thinks on twitter but that doesn’t take away from his crazy work ethic and his brilliance. People who are in the room with him at Space X and Tesla will tell people he’s always one of the smartest in the room.

Sorry for the writing mistakes. I don’t see a way to edit and fix them. The typing box doesn’t expand with your typing once you out wrote it.
