    <p>The thing is if the cable (and satellite) companies don’t do anything to compete and if streaming services keep coming out and don’t do anything to compete more people are just going to pirate. The way the cable (and satellite) companies can win is just to let people pick and pay for the channels they want…and not overcharge per channel. The idea is they’ll make less money per channel and some people will pay for pay channels and pay-per-view because they’ll have extra money to do so. They can still have clusters like for sports (charge $50 for all sports channels bundled together).</p>
