    <p>Thanks for your insights regarding Smart App Control, Brad.</p><p><br></p><p>As an unpopular opinion, I actually don’t think Microsoft is 100% in the wrong for implementing this kind of technology. It’s probably useful to enable on machines that are used by "normal" individuals. If I bought a laptop for my mom, I wouldn’t want her to install stuff from just anywhere. However, I also think that for the enthusiast, there should always be workarounds for stuff like this, that ultimately one should be able to install whatever they want on their computer.</p><p><br></p><p>By the way, I know a little German.</p><p><br></p><p>He gets me free beer sometimes. ;-)</p>
