    <p>Re Powershell vs POSIX shells, what’s the ratio of Powershell users to WSL users?</p><p><br></p><p>I don’t deny that Powershell has its fans for Windows admin, but outside Windows admin it’s a purple elephant with gills swimming in the liquid interior of pink clouds. POSIX shells and other non-Powershell command line tools are the go-to for other forms of scripting. Powershell is as significant and narrowly used as Smalltalk.</p>
