    You can readily download YouTube vids from the VLC Player; the media information tab will show the direct URL to download the YT vid.

    We are quickly leaving the poor behind. For decades "free" broadcast TV is losing content to paid only solutions. Sure this has been a thing since cable started, but it's only getting worse.


    In your talk about sports - Unless the sports leagues want to simply bail on the broadcast crowd, they can't leave the likes of those stations.


    we're definitely being held back by the need to keep the less fortunate in mind to content.

    Streaming services and subscription creep is a real thing now. I had to make a spreadsheet to keep track of everything I sign up for, monthly and yearly...ugh.
