Tips and picks

Tip of the week: Sync Chredge with Edge Mobile

If you’re on the beta version of Edge Mobile for Android, you can sync (Favorites only, for now) with Chredge instead of classic Edge now.

App pick of the week: PWA Builder 2.0

Microsoft releases PWA Builder 2.0 for developing progressive web apps

Enterprise pick of the week: Global ONLINE Azure Bootcamp

Saturday: April 27. It’s free. It will be broadcast on YouTube and include 24 hours of deep-dive classes on Azure/cloud computing created and organized by the community. Registration is required: https://globalonlineazurebootcamp.wordpress.com/ (Thanks to Aidan Finn for the info.)

Enterprise pick no. 2: G Suite-to-Office 365 migration tools

Last year, Microsoft said they were working on an “experience” to help users and partners migrate from GSuite to O365. And this month, here these tools come.

Codename pick of the week: Catnip

Microsoft is working on a PWA Insider application. Its codename is “Catnip,” for all you ninja cats out there. If you want to see it, go to @NorthfaceHiker’s session at Build, where he’ll also be talking up what developers can get out of the Insider program.

Beer pick of the week:  Cloudburst Brewing REALLY SOLID AMAZING LIQUID

It’s almost time for Build, so it’s time for some Seattle-based beer picks. Anything from Cloudburst is great. Especially their IPAs, like Really Solid Amazing Liquid. IPA w/ Mosaic, Simcoe, & Amarillo. (it’s right in the Pike Place Market area, walkable from the Convention Center)
