Tip of the week: Download any version of Windows 10
A cool and newly-updated script bypasses Microsoft’s desire to only give you the latest version.
App pick of the week: Xbox app for Android and iOS
You’ll be able to use this app to more easily set up and configure your new Xbox Series X|S. So get it ready.
Enterprise pick of the week: Get a year free of basic call-in conferencing for Teams
SMBs and small partners may want dial-in conferencing for Teams but don’t want to get PSTN dial-in because it’s costly. Microsoft quietly is offering a year’s free (basic) call-in conferencing by adding it via the M365 admin portal. Thanks to Alex Niehaus for the info on this offer that started Oct. 1.
Codename pick of the week: Aquila
SCOM is coming to Azure (as a stepping stone to MS trying to get Op Manager users to go to Azure Monitor). The codename of this is Aquila and it should be in private preview soon â„¢.
Beer pick of the week: Evil Twin’s “IT’S ‘BAILEY’S IRISH CREAM COFFEE’ NOT ‘BAILEY’S, IRISH CREAM, & COFFEE’”
It’s not a peanut butter whiskey, but how about a stout conditioned on ‘Bailey’s Irish Cream Coffee’. Flavors of milk chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, nutty coffee, cream, & vanilla. 12.2% creamy goodness
