Tip of the week: Customize an Elite Controller

You can now customize an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller on Xbox Design Labs!

App pick of the week: PC Game Pass

For $9.99 per month, the cost of a controller, and the right laptop, we see a compelling Xbox console alternative.

Enterprise pick of the week: Microsoft’s Win 365 app is now in preview

This is one of the promised integrations between Windows 11 and Windows 365 that Microsoft announced back in April. The preview version of the Windows 365 app — available from the MS Store — lets you restart and reset your PC and can be accessed from the Start menu or by pinning to your taskbar. “Soon” this app will ship as part of Win 11.

Enterprise pick No. 2 of the week: Intune — rebranding and new add-ons, plans coming

If you thought the Office/M365 branding story was confusing, Intune says hold my beer: Microsoft is phasing out the Microsoft Endpoint Manager name in favor of Intune. However, Config Manager will continue as the on-prem management brand. Also: Premium add-ons are coming to Intune, as is a new premium plan for E3 and E5 subscribers in March 2023.

Beer pick of the week: Maine Beer Fall

Maine Beer, well-known for their Lunch and Dinner IPAs, has made a new coffee stout called Maine “Fall.” Brewed with Ethopian cold brew coffee, so has lots of chocolately flavors. But still surprisingly light and even a bit fruity. Kind of reminded me of Guiness, in a good way, and only 5.6%.
