
Google has raised the price of all Nest smart home cameras and doorbells in the US today. The Google TV streamer, the successor to the Chromecast with Google TV, also saw its price go up 50% to $150 in the country.
“Due to rising component costs, we are adjusting the U.S. pricing of select Google Nest cameras, doorbells and Google TV streamer 4K, effective August 31. We remain committed to providing our customers with industry-leading smart home security and continuous feature updates,” Google told 9to5Google.

As of this writing, Amazon is still selling the Google TV streamer at its original $100 price (https://amzn.to/4i1B0ak), though you may want to act fast. While the device is now two years old, it’s still a good deal at $100, considering the Apple TV 4K’s price rose 67% to $199. Amazon also raised the price of all Fire TV sticks by up to 43%.
