Stardock Releases DeskScapes 2026

Stardock today announced the release of its DeskScapes 2026 desktop personalization utility with a launch day discount.

“DeskScapes has always been the easiest way to keep your desktop wallpaper organized and customized with unique visual effects,” Stardock’s Brad Sams says. “DeskScapes 2026 takes that further by bringing AI-powered creation directly to your desktop, running entirely on your own hardware, so you can generate something new, restyle a favorite image, and have it all managed in one place.”

DeskScapes 2026 doesn’t require tokens or hidden costs because the AI-based functionality runs on-device, not in the cloud, using your PC’s processor and GPU to generate images and repurpose existing wallpaper images: An AI Restyle feature lets you reimagine any image in a new style and apply filters and effects using a significantly larger effects library. There’s also an image upsizing capability for lower-resolution images and a new Hybrid Dream editor for building animated backgrounds.

DeskScapes 2026 is for Windows 11, and while it normally costs $9.99, it’s available during the launch period for just $6.99. It’s supported on up to five PCs per user, and it’s included in Stardock Object Desktop if you have that. You can learn more on the Stardock website.
