New Windows 11 Insider Build Adds Xbox Subscriptions in Settings

Microsoft has started to roll out Xbox subscription management in Settings to Windows Insiders on the Dev Channel. The just released Windows 11 Insider build 25193 adds details about Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Live Gold subscriptions in Settings > Accounts.

“Like the Microsoft 365 subscription management experience, you will be able to view your billing recurrence, payment method and the games and benefits associated with your Xbox subscription. In addition, you will also be able to manage and upgrade your subscription, redeem gift card tokens and be up to date on any actions required to continue your subscriptions without any disruptions,” the Windows Insider team explained.

This new feature will roll out gradually to Insiders on the Dev channel. Today’s build also brings support for new Braille displays and new Braille input and output languages in Narrator.

Additionally, Microsoft has disabled the ability to share a local file to OneDrive using the built-in Windows share window that Microsoft started testing in the build 25163 last month. “We hope to bring this feature back in the future after further refinement of the experience,” the team said.

Microsoft also released the Windows 11 Insider builds 22621.590 and 22622.590 for Insiders on the Beta channel today. There are only bug fixes in this build, though Microsoft has also disabled the OneDrive integration in the built-in Windows share window in the build 22622.590.

This is a rare Thursday drop from the Windows Insider team, but that’s not all: Microsoft has also quietly released the RTM versions of the Windows 11 version 22H2 Software Development Kit (SDK), Windows Driver Kit (WDK), and Enterprise Windows Driver Kit (EWDK).
