Microsoft has started testing new game hubs in its Xbox app for PC that display more information about the growing selection of PC games available in the digital storefront. These Game Hubs currently display game progress, information about new DLCs, news from developers, and more, and the Xbox team this is “just the beginning.”
These new Game Hubs are currently available for Xbox Insiders on PC, as well as a subset of users who didn’t sign up for the preview. As a reminder, you can get access to preview updates for the Xbox app on PC via the Xbox Insider Hub, which is available to download from the Microsoft Store.

Currently, Game Hubs show you at the top when you last played a game, your total playtime, an achievement summary, and friends who play this game. When a game that’s also available in PC Game Pass will leave the library soon, this information will also be displayed at the top.
Game developers can also post updates and announcements on Game Hubs, similar to how game pages on Steam work. Microsoft is also bringing the crowdsourced information from HowLongToBeat, which was previously available on the details pages for some games, to Game Hubs.
“We have another wave of updates coming soon, including ways to view your local game captures and browse other games from the same publisher,” the Xbox team said today. If you have feature suggestions for the team, be aware that there will be a dedicated quest in the Xbox Insider Hub until March 9.
