For the past couple of months, I’ve been working with AdDuplex to identify an exceptional Windows app each week. So far, I’ve been promoting these apps on Windows Weekly, but from here on out, I’ll be doing so on Thurrott.com as well.

First up is the Bank of America app for Windows 10. This app provides the following Windows 10-specific features, which were developed in concert with Microsoft’s User Experience team:

Cortana voice Commands. BOA customers can now ask Cortana to view account balances, pay bills, transfer money, find the nearest banking locations, and contact customer service.

People integration. You can import existing contacts and seamlessly transfer funds into their accounts, Microsoft says.

Financial center and ATM locator capabilities. While on the road, you can use the app to find the nearest Bank of America ATM or financial center.

“With 20 million active mobile banking customers we are focused on increasing touchpoints with customers and developing new innovations based upon the functionality they want to better manage their financial lives,” Bank of America Digital Banking Executive E.J. Achtner explains. “We value the Windows community and your feedback and look forward to continuing to provide you new mobile solutions that offer you what you want – control, flexibility, security and ultimately, the best overall banking experience.”

You can download Bank of America from the Windows Store.
