We wrote a bit about the May Xbox Update back in April, but here’s a quick rundown of the new features.

Link Xbox Live and Discord. Xbox Live subscribers can now link their account with a Discord account so you can see what your friends are playing and doing across networks.

High refresh rate support. With this update, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X can now output at 120 Hz when using 1080p or 1440p resolutions.

Simpler clip editing. Now, you can trim your gameplay clips directly from the Guide. Previously, you had to find and launch the Upload Studio app to do this.

Family Settings improvements. A new Details page in Family Settings helps parents more easily manage all of their family settings. Important settings that are turned off or require attention will be flagged for parents too, Microsoft notes.

New button commands. Button commands have been updated throughout the Dashboard so that you can more easily find common options.

Xbox Accessories app improvements. The Xbox Accessories app has updated with easier navigation and a more consistent look and feel.
