Announced last month, Sonos Voice Control is now available on all voice-enabled Sonos smart speakers.
“Sonos is committed to delivering new experiences that effortlessly connect listeners to the content they love.” Sonos vice president Joseph Dureau said at the time of the announcement. “One of the most natural ways to connect to your music is with your voice, but when we speak to our customers, we hear that privacy concerns mean many are choosing not to use voice control. Created purely for listening on Sonos and designed with privacy at its core, Sonos Voice control delivers the Sonos app experience using only your voice.”

As you might expect, you activate Sonos Voice Control by saying “Hey, Sonos.” And it works as expected, with the expected commands across Sonos Radio, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, and Pandora, with more services coming soon. But the best part is that the feature is voiced by actor Giancarlo Esposito, best known for his role as Gus Fring on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
Sonos Voice Control is available now in the United States, and it’s coming to France later this year and to other markets later.
