Why does Window Update keep resetting my PC to Light Mode?

I just installed the latest Windows Update on my laptop and it reset my Personalization > Colors > Choose your mode from Dark to Light. I guess I’m used to it by now, but it’s still kind of annoying that Windows keeps changing my mode back to light. You would think that MS would able to design an OS that doesn’t reset it this with every update.
