Apple is offering six months of Apple Music for just $2.99 as a part of a limited-time promotion ahead of Super Bowl LIX. The company said that it was the “biggest offer ever” for its music streaming service, though the discount is only available for new and eligible subscribers (via 9to5Mac).
Apple Music is usually priced at $10.99/month for an individual subscription. The music streaming service offers more than 100 million songs ad-free with lossless audio quality, with a growing library of songs also available in Dolby Atmos. Apple Music is available on the web, but there are also native apps for Apple devices, Windows PCs, Android phones, gaming consoles, and the most popular smart TV platforms.
This Apple Music promotion will be valid until February 27, 2025, and the company said on an FAQ that it’s not available for people eligible for a 3-month free Apple Music offer. That was the case for me as I only saw a 3-month for €10,99 promotion when I tried to sign up.
As a Super Bowl partner, Apple will also offer 100 hours of programming on Apple Music Radio starting February 6, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage for Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show through its Shazam app. You can learn more about Apple Music’s Super Bowl celebrations in Apple’s press release.
