Windows users can now download new Apple TV, Apple Music, and Apple Devices apps on the Microsoft Store for Windows 11 and Windows 10. These three new apps launched in preview last year and they can now replace iTunes, which Apple discontinued on macOS years ago.
While Apple Music and Apple TV are both available on the web, iTunes can also be used to manage iPhones and iPads from a Windows PC. I don’t know if many people still use iTunes for this, but anyway, the Apple Devices app can now do that.

As Paul pointed out earlier today, these three apps are only available in the x64 architecture. It took several years for Google to finally release an ARM64 version of its Chrome browser, so maybe there’s hope for Apple to do the same with its 3 new apps… in a few more years?
iTunes for Windows may still remain useful for people using the app to listen to podcasts, however. Mac users can enjoy a native Podcasts app, and it remains to be seen if Apple could bring a similar app to Windows as well.
Anyway, Apple releasing native apps on the Microsoft Store is still good news for Windows users. Today, the company also released a redesigned iCloud app for Windows, with a new setup experience and various UI changes. The app should also improve the syncing performance of iCloud photos in the Microsoft Photos app. iCloud for Windows is also available to download from the Microsoft Store.
