## Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is Now Available to Preorder

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is now available for preorder at $1100 and up and will ship May 30, 2005.

“Galaxy S25 Edge is more than a slim smartphone,” Samsung Electronics president and acting head of the Devices eXperience division TM Roh said. “The superior engineering that brought this revolutionary smartphone to life illustrates a commitment to overcoming barriers that helps Galaxy deliver truly unexpected premium experiences for people around the world. S25 Edge not only marks a breakthrough for its category, but it also accelerates important innovation across the mobile industry.”

Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 Edge when it launched the rest of the S25 family of smartphones back in January, and then finally revealed last week that it would launch the thin new phone tonight. It looks impressive. The phone is just 5.8 mm thin and weighs 163 grams–by comparison, the Galaxy S25+ has the same display (with a 120 Hz refresh rate) and is 7.3 mm thin and weighs 190 grams–but it packs some impressive components. Key among them is a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2x display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, a 200 MP main lens, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and Corning Gorilla Armor 2.

Naturally, the battery is smaller than what’s found on otherwise similar smartphones. So where the Galaxy S25+ has a 4900 mAh battery, the S25 Edge has a predictably smaller 3,900 mAh battery. The frame is titanium and it’s available in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Icyblue. If you preorder the phone, Samsung will give customers a complimentary storage upgrade (from 256 to 512 GB) and early delivery. It also offers pretty amazing trade-ins on Samsung and competing phones.
