Report: Apple to Release New iPhone, iPads, and MacBooks on March 2-4

After launching new AirTags in late January, Apple is preparing to announce new iPads, Macs, and the successor to the iPhone 16E next week. The company already invited some journalists to a “special Apple Experience” in New York, London, and Shanghai on March 4, 2026, but according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to reveal its new products over three days, starting on March 2.

“I’m told Apple will introduce at least five products. They could span hardware, software and chips,” Gurman wrote. The reporter expects that the new entry-level MacBook with an iPhone chip is “very likely” to be part of the announcements, as well as the new iPhone 17e, “if it doesn’t debut even sooner.”

A new entry-level iPad with an A18 chip is also coming very soon, and with it, the full iPad lineup will support Apple Intelligence features. Gurman also expects to see the iPad Airs being refreshed with an M4 chip after the Pro models got the latest M5 chip last fall.

Apple’s M5 chip is also coming soon to the MacBook Air, while 14-inch and 16-inch Pro models should be upgraded with M5 Pro and M5 Max variants of that chip. Lastly, Gurman is reporting that Apple will launch a new Apple Studio Display in 2026, but that product may not be announced on March 2-4. A new Mac Studio desktop is also in the pipeline, but it may not be ready to ship yet.

If Gurman is correct, this won’t be the first time Apple announces several new products day-by-day via press releases. The company did the same thing in March of last year when it announced the new M3 iPad Air and 11th-gen iPad, which were followed a day later by the M4 MacBook Airs. It won’t be long before we see what happens, but Samsung will precede Apple’s product announcements with its Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, February 25.
