AppleCare One Insurance Plan is Coming to the UK, Australia, France, and Germany

Apple is expanding the availability of its AppleCare One insurance plan to more countries beyond the US. Starting August 4, users of Apple devices in the UK, Australia, France, and Germany can pay a monthly fee to cover up to three devices, with the ability to add more for an extra fee.

“AppleCare One includes all the benefits of AppleCare+, including fast and unlimited repairs for accidental damage, battery replacement service, and 24/7 priority access to Apple experts,” Apple explained in its UK Press release. ”Customers can enroll their eligible Apple products in the plan for the same great price, meaning a customer protecting their iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch together can save up to £11.48 per month compared to maintaining separate AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plans for each device.”

In the UK, AppleCare One starts at £16.99/month for covering up to three devices, and adding an extra device costs an extra £4.99 per month. In France and Germany, the insurance plan is priced at €20.99 per month, with extra devices costing €5.99 per month. Apple products that are up to four years old can be added to a plan, but only if they are in good condition.

In addition to expanding AppleCare One to more markets, Apple is also making its AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage plan available for iPads and Apple Watches in the UK. The single-device plan option provides coverage for up to two incidents of theft or loss per year, in addition to unlimited repairs for accidental damage. AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss protection starts at $£4.99/month or £44.99/ year for iPad users, with prices starting at £2.99/month or £29.99/year for an Apple Watch.
