
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Xbox-inspired home accessories, but Microsoft has now teamed up with IKEA to launch a new collection of furniture you may actually want to buy. Forget about the cheap Xbox Series X mini fridge and Xbox Series S toaster, IKEA’s new YXSTABY collection includes a D pad-shaped cushion, a thumbstick stool, a gaming side table, and more.
“The YXSTABY collection is designed for the way gaming fits into daily life, with thoughtful, versatile pieces that make room when it’s time to play, and still feel at home when the game is over,” IKEA said in a press release. “The XBOX controller is a recurring source of inspiration for the collection, shaping both how several pieces look and how they work. Its familiar forms and details appear throughout the collection in unexpected ways and help create thoughtful gaming solutions for the home.”

IKEA’s YXSTABY collection was unveiled at Gamescom today, where Xbox also announced its new disc-to-digital program and pricing and pre-order details for its Xbox 25th anniversary collection. The accessory collection will be available in IKEA stores and online starting on October 1, but availability may vary by market.
