Amazon Reveals New Echo and Echo Dot With Clock

Although the Echo Studio is the star of the show, Amazon is also launching two other Echo devices. A brand new Echo speaker, and an Echo Dot with Clock.

The new Echo speaker looks a lot like the previous Echo, except it comes in a new fabric design that looks much nicer than before. There’s also an ew Twilight Blue color, along with the usual Charcoal, Sandstone and Heather Gray options. The new Echo also apparently uses the same audio architecture as the Echo Plus, thanks to the new neodymium drivers, 3-inch woofer and increased back volume so the bass feels stronger, and the mids and highs are clearer. It’ll sell for $99.

And then there’s the new Echo Dot with Clock. It’s an Echo Dot, now with an LED display that shows you the time. It can even show the temperature and alarm times. It’s pretty cool for $59.99.
