Amazon Reports Record Black Friday Sales

Amazon said that it saw record-breaking sales during the Black Friday period, including Cyber Monday. And some sales are ongoing.

“It was Amazon’s biggest kickoff to the holiday shopping season ever,” the firm reported. “Home, Toys, and Apparel were among the top-selling categories from Black Friday through Cyber Monday.”

Getting a bit more specific, Amazon’s best-selling items were Apple AirPods, Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer, Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote, Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen), Amazon Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen), Sengled Smart Light Bulbs, Beats Studio Buds, and Colorfulkoala Yoga Pants.

Separately, Amazon told me that customers have already purchased a record number of Fire TV streaming media players via its site this holiday season. And that on Black Friday, Fire TV Stick was the top-selling item on Amazon.com. Customers also purchased a record number of Fire TV smart TVs on Amazon.com. That includes models from Insignia, Toshiba, and Pioneer, plus the Amazon Fire TV Omni and 4-Series.

The good news for those who waited? Many Fire TV products are still on sale and will be through December 5. They include:

      <p>Huh?</p><p>Recently I got 5 orders packed in 1 box.</p><p>Multiple boxes generally mean they are coming from different distribution centers when they can’t fulfill everything locally.</p>

    <p>People don’t learn do they. They just can’t seem to remove companies like Amazon from their lives and realise there’s a lot of other options out their from smaller players who may offer better pricing and certainly better customer service. Amazon are now way too big, powerful and controlling.</p>
