Apple Starts Selling Xbox Wireless Controller

Apple has started selling Xbox Wireless Controller at the Apple Store this week. The company is now selling Microsoft’s Xbox Wireless Controller on the Apple website, after adding support for the controller on iOS 13, tvOS 13, and iPadOS 13.

The controller is available for $59.95 in the United States, and £54.95 in the United Kingdom. The price does match the official price of the Xbox Wireless Controller, but as The Verge notes, you will probably find the controller for cheaper from other retailers like Best Buy.

Apple interestingly isn’t selling Sony’s DualShock 4 controller just yet, though that could change in the future considering it’s added support for the controller on its latest operating systems as well.

As for the Xbox Wireless Controller, you can order it today for next-day delivery, or pick it up from one of your local Apple Stores. The controller should work well with Apple Arcade games, which is one of the main reasons why Apple has added support for third-party controllers on iPhone, Apple TV, and iPad.

I'd like both Microsoft and Apple to have a filter in their app stores for "works well with controller" or "optimized for controller".

XBox controllers look much more beautiful than PlayStation ones. Apple has good taste.
