We’re just a month away from Apple’s usual September hardware event, where the company is expected to reveal the iPhone 17 series, new Apple Watch models, and more. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously detailed Apple’s upcoming product pipeline, with a new M5-powered iPad Pro coming in the fall and refreshed MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPad Air, and entry-level iPad models following in the first half of 2026.

MacRumors has since completed these informations about Apple’s product plans thanks to hardware identifiers found in code that the company mistakenly shared yesterday. The leaked code confirms the development of a new Apple Studio Display previously revealed by Gurman, as well as a second-gen Vision Pro headset with an M5 chip. Gurman previously reported that the updated headset would use Apple’s latest M4 chip, but Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also expects the new hardware to use an M5 chip instead.

The latest information obtained by MacRumors also includes details about new versions of the HomePod Mini, Apple TV, iPad Mini, and entry-level iPad:

HomePod Mini 2: Apple’s new entry-level home speaker is expected to use a faster S-series chip, likely the same silicon that will power the upcoming Apple Watch Series 11. It’s expected to launch in late 2025, and it may also feature a new in-house chip for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

New Apple TV: Also expected for later this year, this new Apple TV box should include an A17 Pro chip, which was previously used in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPad Mini 7. This chip supports Apple intelligence, which suggests that Siri on the Apple TV could soon become more conversational. This new Apple TV is also expected to use a new in-house chip for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

New iPad mini: Apple’s mini tablet will reportedly be refreshed with an A19 Pro chip, the same silicon that’s expected to power the iPhone 17 Pro series. However, while the current 7th-gen iPad Mini was released back in October 2024, the report doesn’t confirm that its successor will be released later this fall.

New entry-level iPad: The latest version of Apple’s low-cost tablet was refreshed in March with an A16 chip, but it’s currently the only iPad that doesn’t support Apple Intelligence. The next version coming in Spring 2026 will change that with the inclusion of an A18 chip.

During a rare all-hands meeting with employees earlier this month, Apple CEO Tim Cook teased the company’s “amazing pipeline of products,” which is expected to include a folding iPhone, smart glasses, and smart home products. Yesterday, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed more details about Apple’s upcoming smart home display, which could be released in the middle of next year. The company is also said to be working on Ring-like home cameras and a tabletop robot that could be coming in 2027.
