Twitter is making the ability to edit messages for Twitter Blue subscribers a bit more flexible. Initially, users could only edit a tweet for 30 minutes after posting it, but Twitter has now bumped that to an hour.
The ability to edit tweets has been a highly-requested feature for years, and it’s probably one of the most useful Twitter Blue features for users who tweet a lot. In addition to Twitter, WhatsApp is another app that recently allowed its users to edit messages, though just for 15 minutes.

Twitter Blue offers other features for users who tweet a lot: They can now write longer tweets with up to 10,000 characters, bold and italicize text in tweets, and also post videos up to 2 hours long. Additionally, Twitter Blue members also get prioritized rankings in replies and search.
For Twitter who just like to use the platform to keep up with the news, Twitter Blue also reduces the number of ads by approximately 50% in the For You and Following timelines. Other premium features include the ability to customize the bottom navigation bar, and there is also a selection of podcasts and more audio content in Twitter’s Spaces tab.
In other Twitter-related news, Elon Musk is no longer the CEO of Twitter as he just passed the baton to Linda Yaccarino, a former marketing executive at NBCUniversal. Musk previously said that he would transition to a new Chief Technology Officer role and oversee product design.
