Asus and Dell will soon launch their first Cloud PC devices designed for Windows 365, Microsoft’s cloud-based virtual desktop service. They will complete the Windows 365 Link, Microsoft’s first Cloud PC device that launched in April 2025.
For those unfamiliar, Windows 365 is a subscription service that lets organizations stream Windows 10 or Windows 11 PCs on any device via a web browser or the Windows app. Cloud PCs like the Windows 365 Link and the upcoming devices from Dell and Asus give organizations easy-to-manage and secure devices with no local data, apps, and admin users.
“We have been energized to see organizations adopting Windows 365 and Windows 365 Link for critical workloads across industries such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, professional services and telecommunications. As more Cloud PC devices become available later this year, we look forward to seeing how more organizations benefit from the power, simplicity and security of Windows 365,” Microsoft said today.
The upcoming Asus NUC 16 for Windows 365 and Dell Pro Desktop for Windows 365 will both launch in the third quarter of 2026, and they look like mini PCs with a selection of ports on the front. The Asus device you can see above will be able to connect to up to 3 displays thanks to its HDMI and USB Type-C ports. Thanks to its compact form factor (0.7L), it can also be mounted behind a display.
Asus’ website mentions that the NUC 16 for Windows 365 is “powered by the latest Intel processor, with DDR5 memory.” The company also mentioned Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and 2.5Gb Ethernet support, but there are no more precise details. Keep in mind that Cloud PC devices are thin clients designed to connect to Windows 365, so they don’t need the latest and greatest specs.
Neither Microsoft nor Dell provided specs details for the Dell Pro Desktop for Windows 365, but Microsoft said that it was a “compact, fanless desktop designed for durability and quiet operation. Just like the Asus device, it also supports up to 3 displays and can be mounted.

In addition to expanding the Cloud PC device portfolio later this year, Microsoft also announced upcoming Windows Cloud PC updates in Q2 2026. New features include support for pairing Bluetooth devices during the out-of-box experience, as well as the ability for organizations to configure a custom wallpaper, logo, and name on the sign-in screen.
