Bing Chat Adds Two New Mobile Integration Features

Bing chat in Microsoft Launcher

Microsoft announced today that it has added two features to Bing Chat so that it can better integrate with Android smartphones and iPhones.

As you may know, Microsoft has an Android home screen replacement called Microsoft Launcher. And with today’s update, that app now integrates with Bing Chat. So when you use the search box, you will gain access to the same Bing Chat features you see today on the web and Microsoft Edge on desktop and mobile.

Separately, Continue on Phone is a new feature in Bing Chat for the web—which bears an uncomfortable similarity to the canceled Continue on PC feature from the Timeline days—that lets you continue AI chats using Bing mobile on your iPhone or Android phone. Just click the new “Continue on phone” button that appears when you mouse-up to the top right of the current chat and then scan the QR code that appears with your phone.

So there you go. Not much else to it, I guess.
