Instagram is getting a new Effects Gallery section within Instagram Stories where users can explore these new AR effects created by other Instagram using Spark AR. The idea here is very similar to Snapchat’s Lens Studio, which has existed for a fairly long time.

Facebook has worked with some designers to make some impressive AR effects, to begin with, but you should soon start seeing new AR effects created by regular users. Instagram will even show effects created by a user within their profile, which is pretty cool.

You can checkout Spark AR here if you want to make your own AR effects for Instagram.
