Vivaldi 7.9 Arrives for Android, iPhone, and iPad

Vivaldi announced the latest release of its web browser, with new features for Android, iPhone, and iPad.

“Vivaldi 7.9 for Mobile is a big one,” Vivaldi founder and CEO Jon von Tetzchner writes. “iOS users finally get a signature Vivaldi feature Android fans have enjoyed for years, Two-Level Tab Stacks. Both Android and iOS get the daily image feature, to add some sparkle to your day. Android users also get a taste of Desktop Mode.”

Here’s what’s new.

On Android, Vivaldi 7.9 delivers a Daily Image feature that provides a new Start Page photo each day, and enhanced support for Samsung DeX and Android Desktop Mode.

Meanwhile, Vivaldi users on iPhone and iPad get two-level Tab Stacks, Daily Image (which can also be used as your device’s Home screen wallpaper), and Import from Safari with support for bookmarks, passwords, history, stored credit card info, and more.

Vivaldi 7.9 for Android is available now from the Google Play Store, while Vivaldi 7.9 for iPhone and iPad is available in the Apple App Store.
