Improved Sidebar switcher. The Firefox Sidebar switcher lets you switch between Bookmarks, History, and Synced tabs views in the Sidebar and move the Sidebar to either side of the browser window. Now, it allows keyboard users to perform these tasks more easily, with or without using assistive technology, and without having to memorize keyboard shortcuts.

Picture-in-Picture improvements. The volume slider is now available in the Picture-in-Picture view.

Text annotation editing. You can now edit existing text annotations.

File copy and paste. You can now copy a file using the Clipboard and paste it into Firefox.

Access the release notes from the update notification prompt. In English locales only, you will now see a “Learn More” link in the notification prompt for an update that lets you access the release notes.

Firefox 116 can be downloaded from the Mozilla website.
