Here’s what’s new.
Reader View improvements. Firefox’s Reader View now delivers a more accessible reading experience thanks to an improved Text and Layout menu with new options for character spacing, word spacing, and text alignment. There are also new Contrast and Gray options in the Reader View’s Theme menu. And new custom colors for text, background, and links in the Theme menu’s Custom tab.
Tab previews for background tabs. Now, when you mouse over a background tab, they will display tab previews so you can find what you’re looking for more easily.
HTTPS by default. The secure HTTPS is replacing HTTP as the default protocol in the Firefox address bar. Firefox will fall back to HTTP when a site doesn’t offer HTTPS.
HTTPS DNS record support. On Windows, Linux, and Android (10+) FirefAox will now use the platform’s native DNS resolver, providing automatic support for HTTPS DNS when available. (This required the user to enable DNS over HTTPS previously.)
VoiceOver improvements on Mac. Firefox now supports multiple languages in a single document when using macOS’s VoiceOver feature.
Address autofill improvements. Address autofill is now enabled for users in France and Germany.
