Microsoft Announces VS Code Day

On Wednesday, April 26, Microsoft will host a full-day “VS Code Day” virtual event with sessions about Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot, and much more.

“VS Code Day is a one-day ‘Virtually Live’ event starting at 10:00 AM PST on April 26,” Microsoft’s Burke Holland writes. “Naming things is hard, but we feel like this title says it all – a full day of community, learning, and all things Visual Studio Code. Registration is now open.”

10:05 AM PT – Inside VS Code – How We Build and Ship It with Erich Gamma and Kai Maetzel

10:40 AM PT – Elevate your VS Code Experience with Sandeep Somavarapu

11:10 AM PT – Develop Anywhere with VS Code with Brigit Murtaugh and Connor Peet

11:45 AM PT – VS Code Tips and Tricks for Typescript Wizards with Matt Pocock

12:15 PM PT – Accessibility in VS Code with Megan Rogge

12:50 PM PT – Using VS Code, Copilot, and Codespaces to Level Up to Rust from Python with Noah Gift

1:20 PM PT – Creating a Dataset from Scratch with Copilot with Alfredo Deza

1:55 PM PT – Data Science for Everyone and Everywhere with Soojin Choi

2:25 PM PT – Writing Python Web Apps with VS Code with Pamela Fox

2:55 PM PT – What’s new with GitHub Next with Amelia Wattenberger

3:25 PM PT – GitHub Integration in VS Code for Web with Joyce Er
