A few days ago, I installed Windows 10 on an old HP Elite with a Phenom II X6 1055t.
It actually installed surprisingly well. All of the drivers installed, and I experienced no major hiccups. The PC has a decent 16GB of RAM and a Radeon HD 6570 1GB GPU.
There are instruction sets missing for the old CPU. I suspect, newer programs or games will not run. Or if they do, they will not run properly.
This is testament to Windows historical compatibility with older hardware.
Something that Microsoft phased out with Windows 11 unfortunately.
