Totally Hands free calling and texting

Hi everyone,

I am reluctantly preparing to move away from Windows mobile devices. I have enjoyed totally hands free texting for many years, and can even initiate totally hands free calls when Cortana decides to wake up the phone.

Both the wife and I spend a considerable amount of time driving, so moving to a phone, vehicle, and OS that allow totally hands free calls/texts is of utmost importance.

Can anyone tell me which devices and operating systems support total hands free via the phone. I do not want to activate separate voice/data service in the vehicle(s).

Thanks,

Rickety Tiger

Iphone using Siri. Initiate a text by saying, "Hey Siri, send text to NAME." Calls work the same way.

Optionally, Apple CarPlay can add integration into the car's entertainment system if supported by your car.
