Looking for Roma Norte, Mexico City hotel recommendations

I’ve done my best to search this site for hotel recommendations and have come up short (although plenty of great restaurant reviews!). It makes perfect sense because Paul et al. have an apartment there, but I’m considering a trip in the next few months and would like some recommendations or an approach to find a fun place to stay.
