Markdown editor

I know Paul has mentioned MarkdownPad and AppyText of which I like the idea of, but both are windows only native applications. As with anything, I certainly have no desire to depend on such OS-specific, non cloud based programs. StackEdit seems to be on first glance the way to go, at least for casual use. Open source cloud based, with local save and tie-ins to such things as google drive.
