I know that Paul has covered this topic before, but I found this article (https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2024/02/what-i-do-to-clean-up-a-clean-install-of-windows-11-23h2-and-edge/) a good overview as well.
I was surprised to learn that Rufus allows one to create installation media that will disable some system requirements checks, remove the Microsoft account requirement, and turn off all the data collection settings that Windows asks you about the first time you set it up. I will definitely be using that feature the next time I am imaging a device. I also liked the Windows-as-a-nuisance tagline.
